It is also known as Xinjing field combat formations.

It is located in Lanzhou MR, with administrative rights of a Military Region.

- 4 Motorized Infantry Division Ke Shi

Received new unit designation in 1949.2,was part of 1st Field Army 2nd Army Group. joined the old South Xinjing MR in 1953.

Designated as RDF of Xinjing.

It has 6 regiments: 1 armored regiment of Type-88A MBT, 1 armored regiment of Type-59 MBT, 1 mechanized regiment of Type-92 (WZ551) AFV, 1 motorized regiment, 1 artillery regiment and 1 AAA regiment.

Its 10th regiment, 120 artillery battalion, Engineering battalion, Anti-aircraft artillery battalion, communication battalion took part in the 1962 Sino-India War.

It has been revealed that the 4th and 8th divisions based in Xinjiang both have 2 armored regiments.

Newly formed in Xinjing, in 1969. Converted in PAP mobile division in 1996

- 8 Motorized Infantry Division (2) Huo Cheng

Member of 1st Field Army, 8th Army Group during the Chinese civil war
Entered Xinjing in 1962 as 1st Calvary Division. 1st Cav was formed with elements of 1st and 3rd Central-Southern Division and the Central-Southern MR Guard Regiment in 1952.

1st Cave was renamed as 8th infantry division in 1969.

It has been revealed that the 4th and 8th divisions based in Xinjiang both have 2 armored regiments.

31st, 32nd, 33rd Motorized Infantry regiments.

Was a member of 1st Field Army, 4th Army Group.
